Who is Lex?

Well, the plan is for you to get to know me throughout my posts on this blog. My nonsense and blabbing will help you see the inner workings of my mind but for now I’ll give you the quick (actually probably not quick) lowdown of me, Lex. So hey! I’m just your average girl from Buffalo except for the fact that I would prefer ranch over blue cheese. I have an extremely adventurous soul and everyday my wanderlust nags at me to get out and explore this beautiful world. I’m slowly starting to book more and more trips as I also very slowly get my life in order. I’ve always been a kind of control freak and always having a plan. I like knowing what’s going to happen (probably where my anxiety stems from but that’s for another day…) but I’m at that point in life where I actually have no idea what the hell I am going to do other than wake up and live another day. Actually I do know another two years at school is in my cards while I work a bit more and I try to explore. So I have an idea of what I want the next year and a half to look like but who knows how it will pan out.

My family is another huge part of Lex. I come from a close knit family of tall, dark haired, beautiful, loving humans. I am the oldest of 3 kids, 6 grandkids. My mom is the oldest of 5 kids. My aunts and uncles are more like brothers and sisters (even my mom likes to forget that I’m her daughter and not her sister sometimes). Nonnie popped out my mom at an early age and then my mom popped me out at an early age so it set me up for a pretty awesome childhood and adulthood. Being so close in age to everyone is probably the biggest blessing I could have asked for. I mean just my family in general is the biggest blessing. I really can’t describe them. They embarrass me to the point where I get nervous to introduce guys to them but I can’t not introduce guys because if the guy doesn’t mesh well with them, they don’s mesh well with me.

I guess I will sum this up real quick with saying that I’m a pretty simple girl who likes adventure, her family and friends, music, and a decent sunset. I have a lot going on inside of my little head (if you consider a 12 lb head little). I’m excited that you’re here reading, getting to know me through the most pure way- words.
